However, for major thoroughfares and road names, the Garmin Zumo 660 GPS performed well.

It also meets the same standards as its predecessor, the 550, which was tested against IPx7 criteria. This means it can withstand water immersion at a depth of 1 meter for up to 30 minutes long. In combination with its recessed screen, and sturdy looking mounts, the Garmin Zumo 660 GPS seems satisfactory.
And while other people may look at the bells and whistles of most GPS devices, it can be said that passing the three aspects mentioned above meant that this device will perform to your needs. Of course, you can always avail of Bluetooth technology, Traffic Message Channel, photo viewing and others if you like. However, if what you want is a solid GPS unit to get you from point A to B, then the Garmin Zumo 660 GPS is a good way to start.
